I am blessed beyond belief, saved by the Gods grace, striving to become more like Jesus, taking this journey one day at a time. I have driven across this beautiful country a few times and would love nothing more than to travel the entire world! My friends and family mean the world to me, I just wish we could all live in the same stinkin place.
Each day the Lord is teaching me more about what it really means to TRUST him. I care deeply about relationships, college students, adoption, community, and the church. I have been told I have a “gypsy spirit”. I see life as an adventure and realize it is not so much about the destination as it is the incredible journey.
I have been to Kenya, Africa three times with Compassion International which has instilled in me a deep passion for the least of these. You can read about it here! In the picture above it’s me, Ruth (the little girl I sponsor) and James (the little boy my parents sponsor.) If you want to know about child sponsorship, ASK ME. I want to change the world….or at least spend my time and efforts contributing to something that does. Each person has their own unique story waiting to be told if we will just take the time to listen.
I can live without TV but would die without music. My favorite things include traveling, crafting, Anthropologie, iced coffee, running, mexican food, thrifting and the ocean. I try my best to be genuine and surround myself with those striving for the same. I love the art of aesthetics and dream of having a place of my own some day to turn into my vintage-inspired masterpiece.
This blog is all over the place and pretty random much like its author.
Thanks for stopping by!
Leigh

and i love You friend.
I love you girl! Love you blog and pic! You are awesome!
Hi honey,
You may remember me from working at church with Pastor Brian. Your mom and I are friends. I’ve enjoyed getting caught up on what the Lord is doing in your life! Amazing!
I graduated from the LDP program today. It was a great occasion but i will remain a compassion ambassador forever and ever.
I love your blog.
Iam encouraged by reading your blog.
Hello,
My name is Heather. Recently I have become ambitious with the whole blog idea…although I haven’t actually written one yet…lol. I stumbled across yours while trying to gain understanding about blogs. I just started sponsoring a young girl from Uganda through Compassion and I was wondering if it would be ok if I asked you a few questions about your journey with Compassion?
Thank you
Hey Heather! That is amazing! I am so excited to hear you are sponsoring a child! I would love to talk with you more about Compassion!
